Small Town Heroes is changing the way people watch television. The company has developed several innovative products for various types of TV formats. Millions of viewers have enjoyed its solutions, applied in support of some of the most popular TV programming in Belgium and The Netherlands.
Small Town Heroes helps broadcasters who are challenged with the impact of the digital revolution on it's viewers behavior. E.g. to accommodate younger viewers Ketnet, together with Small Town Heroes, transformed their linear TV channel to an interactive, curated experience on tablets and smartphones, where children can alternate their binge watching behavior with educational games and creative challenges. The end result competes with world-class apps by providing a richer, safer and more educational content and interaction platform for children. The project was awarded with the international IBC award for content innovation.
